I'm here at Bible School and was talking with my roommate and really questioning if my prayers matter. I've prayed for people and seen God heal them which is huge but I forget sometimes that my prayers actually do matter. We just finished studying Deuteronomy and God says to the Israelites 47 times in Deut. to remember that I'm your God, who brought you out of slavery and that I'm faithful to you. So God had me remember that yes in fact my prayers do matter and reminded me of that today. Let me explain. God laid it on my heart last night to pray for one of our Bible teachers here named Mark regarding his protection when he is driving his car in the next day. I didn't know the specifics but I did pray for him and God asked me the question, "do you think I can change your life tonight?" I said "Of course, I know you can.
